I'm Liz Nguyen — and for over a decade, I've been going inside scaling businesses and building the systems, structure, and operational infrastructure that let founders finally step back. Not someday. In 90 days.

I grew up as the eldest daughter of Vietnamese refugees. From a young age, I was the one translating paperwork, navigating bureaucracy, and figuring out how systems worked so my family could move through them. I didn't have a word for it then. Now I do: operations.
At 17, I became the youngest person in my community to lead a volunteer-based nonprofit event — a Lunar New Year celebration with thousands of participants. I coordinated people, logistics, and timelines with no playbook and no safety net. That was my first operations role, and I didn't even know it.
I went on to study Microbiology as a pre-med student, then earned a Master's in Education, then moved into technology management. In my first year as a manager at the University of Arizona, my team won the 2021 Team Excellence Award — the only non-COVID team recognized that year. I had built an operational system so strong that a four-person team supported educational technology for an entire university (50,000+ students, staff, faculty) through a global pandemic.
That's when I understood something that has shaped everything I've done since: the right operational infrastructure doesn't just make things run smoother. It makes people and businesses, capable of things they didn't think were possible.
I've spent the last 10+ years building operational systems across education, technology, and nonprofits. I've seen what happens when founders are the bottleneck in their own business, making every decision, holding every process in their head, unable to step away without everything slowing down. And I've built the exact systems that change that.
That's what The Founder's Dividend is. It's the 90-day engagement I wish every founder I've ever worked alongside had access to from the beginning.

Most operational consultants hand you a framework built for someone else's business and tell you to make it fit. That's not how I work. Every Founder's Dividend engagement starts with a deep audit of how your business actually runs — where decisions live, where time leaks, where your team is stuck waiting on you. Then we build from what's real.
Before we build anything, we map exactly what's broken. The bottlenecks, the dependencies, the places where your presence is required when it shouldn't be. Clarity before action, every time.
The systems we build are designed to outlast the engagement. Documented, transferable, and simple enough that your team can run them without a manual. If it requires you to maintain it, it isn't a system — it's a habit.
The goal is never for you to need me forever. The goal is for your business to run so cleanly that you don't need anyone in the weeds — including yourself. I build the operational layer and then I hand it to you completely.
The Founder's Dividend starts with a 30-minute strategy call. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about where your business is, what's keeping you in the weeds, and whether this engagement is the right fit for where you want to go.
Liz works with a small number of founders at a time. If you're ready, don't wait.
Sometimes you just need a seasoned operational mind on call — not a full engagement. Book a single deep-dive session or a monthly retainer to pressure-test your decisions, unblock your team, or think through a specific operational challenge with someone who has been in the room before.
Ideal for: Founders who need expert ops support on-demand, without the overhead of a full-time hire.
The hardest part of stepping back isn't the systems — it's you. Old habits, identity shifts, the urge to jump back in. Accountability coaching keeps you committed to the Owner role when the operator in you wants to take over. Weekly sessions, direct feedback, and a strategic partner who holds you to the version of yourself you said you wanted to be.
Ideal for: Founders who have the systems but struggle to stay out of the weeds.
